These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, website, online materials, classes, workshops, communications, and related offerings provided by Maple Bridge Chinese Learning Ltd. (“Maple Bridge Chinese Learning Ltd.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By registering for, booking, accessing, purchasing, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Maple Bridge Chinese Learning Ltd. and apply to all users of our services, including parents or legal guardians acting on behalf of minors, adult learners, corporate clients, and any other individuals or entities who engage with our offerings.
Where a learner is under the age of majority in the applicable province or territory, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on the learner’s behalf and is responsible for all obligations arising from the learner’s enrollment and participation.
We may require you to confirm acceptance through online registration, electronic signature, checkbox, payment submission, email confirmation, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of our services after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You are responsible for the security of your own devices, internet connection, software, and any third-party services used to access online lessons. We are not responsible for interruptions, delays, or failures caused by your equipment, connectivity, or third-party providers.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any service, without refund where permitted by law, if we reasonably determine that a user has violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us, our staff, other learners, or third parties.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
Fees, pricing, package terms, and payment schedules will be disclosed at the time of registration, invoice issuance, quotation, or purchase. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all fees are payable in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Payment may be required in advance, in full or in part, depending on the service or package selected. We may accept payment by credit card, debit card, electronic transfer, or other methods we designate from time to time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- All fees are non-transferable;
- Any applicable taxes, including GST/HST or PST where applicable, will be added to the price;
- Late or failed payments may result in suspension of services, administrative fees, or loss of reserved class spaces;
- Promotional rates, discounts, or credits may be limited in duration and subject to additional conditions;
- Unused sessions in a package may expire after the stated validity period, if any;
- We reserve the right to update pricing for future enrollments at any time, subject to prior notice where required by law or contract.
If a payment is reversed, charged back, disputed without reasonable grounds, or otherwise not received by us, you agree to reimburse us for any resulting fees, costs, or losses to the extent permitted by law.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund policy may vary depending on the type of service, format, and whether the service has already commenced. The following terms apply unless a specific written policy for a particular program states otherwise:
- Group classes: Missed classes are generally not refundable or transferable. Make-up sessions may be offered at our discretion but are not guaranteed.
- One-on-one tutoring: Cancellations made with less than the required notice period, as communicated at booking, may be charged in full or partially. Repeated cancellations may result in loss of scheduling priority.
- Online lessons: If you fail to attend a scheduled online lesson, the session may be deemed delivered and non-refundable.
- Workshops and immersion sessions: Registration may be non-refundable once preparation begins, materials are ordered, or the event is confirmed, unless required otherwise by law.
Except where required by applicable consumer protection law or expressly stated in writing, refunds are not available for services already delivered, partially delivered, or materially prepared for.
If we cancel a service and cannot offer a reasonable rescheduling or substitute service, we will provide a refund or credit for the unused portion of the fees paid, as required by law and subject to the applicable program terms.
Requests for cancellation or refund must be submitted in writing to our contact email. We may request supporting details and may process approved refunds to the original payment method where feasible.
6. Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maple Bridge Chinese Learning Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, business interruption, or reputational harm arising out of or related to your use of the services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the services shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event first giving rise to liability, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
